First things first!  At Boyd Dance Studios, proper dancewear, including shoes is a MUST.   Please go to our Dance Shop to view your child's recommended class attire and shoes.

  • Tuition: All monthly tuition payments will be auto-drafted from the card on file. Tuition is payable monthly in advance,  due by the 1st of each month regardless of absences, illness, weather-related, vacations, or holidays.  No refunds or adjustments due to absences.  Rehearsals are counted as classes.  Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Late Fees: Tuition received after the 1st of each month will incur a $15.00 late fee that will be assessed to your account.

  • NSF Fees: Non-Sufficient fees are $35

If any classes are not right for you, you will need to email us at admin@boyddancestudios.com Any drop classes have to be dropped by the fifteenth of the month.

  • Remind Text APP-BDS is using the Remind app this year.  We send out information, updates and reminders only through Remind. Phone numbers are always kept private so that teacher-parent communication is 100% safe and secure

Monday Technique Class - @bdstech

  • MISSED CLASSES-Students missing classes because of conflicts with other activities have the opportunity to make up lessons in another class. Please contact the office for other make-up class days and times.  NO REFUNDS will be given for missed classes. 

  • WEATHER-RELATED CANCELLATIONS-Cancellation information will be posted by 2:00p on our Facebook page. Missed class due to inclement weather can be made up in a class at your convenience. Please email BDS contact if you have any questions or concerns. Three (3) missed classes due to inclement weather will be scheduled makeup classes by BDS. Classes are NOT necessarily canceled when school is canceled for inclement weather.

  • Observation Week!  Parents will have the opportunity to come in and observe class. Weeks are listed in our yearly calendar  

Safety First

Basic Safety Procedures – Arrival

  • Dancers should arrive no more or less than 5 minutes prior to class time.

  • Dancers may be brought into the studio by one parent or guardian. 

  • Masks are recommended but not required ~ unless guidelines change to reflect a change. 

Basic Safety Procedure – Lobby

  • Parents-No waiting in the lobby or common studio areas. 

  • One parent/guardian is allowed in the dance studio lobby to assist your child with shoes, coats, etc. but must exit the studio once finished. 

Basic Safety Procedure – Facilities & Cleaning

  • Classrooms are disinfected between each class.

  • Restrooms are disinfected hourly. 

Basic Safety Procedures – Parents

  • Parents and observers are not allowed in the dance studio. Exception of a ( 5 minutes prior and following ) 

      “Drop off and “Pick up” and during Parent Observation visits. 

  • Questions: If you have any questions please email us, we are always happy to help!  If you are dropping off a child or payment to the front desk, please limit time spent.
